Fire. One word can mean so much. It can evoke fear, and yet it can elicit hope. Throughout scripture, God has revealed Himself, proved Himself, and provided for others with fire. The insights we receive from seeing God’s firepower will give us a perspective of God that will build our trust and confidence in Him.

Questions are for the inquisitive. Questions are asked because of a desire to know something. The best questions anyone could ask would be those that give us a greater understanding of God, leading to a personal faith. The questions we will be asking and answering this week will all be about the Cross and what it represents.

Have you ever questioned if you could really trust the Bible? It was written so long ago, by so many people. They didn't have copy machines or the printing press to mass produce it, so couldn't someone have accidentally changed some of the copies? What about historical accuracy, the fulfillment of prophecies, or archaeological evidence? These questions and more deserve to be answered. Don't miss this weekend as we will learn why the Bible can be trusted.

We all give our lives to something . . . but when we give our lives to someone, it truly changes our lives. Jesus gave His life for us so we could have the life God desires for us. The best way to know how to live our best life is by embracing the authority of The Holy Bible over our lives. It can keep us from hurt and pain and lead us to our best relationships. Join us as we consider the benefits of submitting our lives to God.

Hearing from God can be both a wonderful and scary thing. It’s wonderful when we’ve heard just what we wanted to. It’s scary when we are hearing what we weren’t prepared to hear. Don’t be intimidated by the scary, instead learn to allow it to be scary good. Join us this week as we look into how we can hear from God through our Holy Bible.

Everyone has a story. We love to tell the best parts of our story and showcase them on social media and hide the worst parts, so nobody knows about them. Eric will be taking a different approach this weekend - he’s going to give us a peek at the ugly parts that brought him to his knees. His story of transformation is one that started with the condition of his heart. As God brought a needed change to the man he was on the inside, what followed was a change that became apparent on the outside. If you ever wanted to hear the raw and real story of transformation, this is a can’t miss weekend. 

For the next three weeks we are going to be hearing from people in our Crosspoint family and their true stories. This week we will hear from Audrey Hector and how she learned to trust God through the hardships of life. Not only did she learn to trust Him, she also learned that the forgiveness she received from God is a forgiveness she had to give others. Her journey will inspire you to trust God even when you don’t have all your questions answered. 
 

Join us for a special service celebrating Crosspoint’s 20th Anniversary.  We will be singing our hearts out to God, hearing some inspiring testimonials and our drama team will share two different skits! Pastor Wil has a special message for this historical day that will point us toward our future. Following our 10:30 service, we will be celebrating with our own mini carnival. Bring your lawn chairs, and or blankets for a place to sit outside during the carnival time and hang out with us for burgers and hotdogs as well.
