This is the final part for our series: Faith Works. Working on your faith is the best way to make sure your faith works. Faith is what you have conviction for that is accompanied by obedience. Hebrews 11 is known as the "Hall of Faith". While we will look at this, we will also look and see how Jesus identified that His follower's faith would lead to a "Haul" of faith. Don't forget to bring your bible and invite someone to join you.

The most successful attacks are the ones that catch the victims by surprise. History is full of such attacks. Unfortunately, these types of attacks are not only against nations, but such attacks are happening to the Christian faith. This isn't a new tactic, but this old tactic is still working because Christians aren't on high alert. This weekend will be memorable, but even more so, I hope and pray it will be beneficial. If ever there was a weekend to start bringing your Bible with you to church, this is certainly the weekend!

Faith won't work without love. Jesus taught that our love for others is what will distinguish us as His followers. Jesus taught we are commanded to love. Love is a "fruit" that every Christian should be producing. We'd love to see you this weekend as we unpack Part 2 of Faith Works.

Is it faith or works that gets someone to heaven? How does faith actually work? What does the work look like for someone with faith? "Faith Works" brings questions, but it also brings understanding. No matter where you are concerning faith, this series will work to help you grow in your faith. Invite someone who doesn't have a church home to sit with you.  Crosspoint might be the family they didn't even know they needed.

As we finish the series, REDO, our journey will conclude as we grapple with our need to constantly reconnect with God and reignite the purpose He created us to live out. Redoing these two things, reconnecting and reigniting, over and over is what empowers us to live our best life with the smallest amount of regrets.

If you've never reached a place where things fell apart, give it time, and they will. Life has a way of tearing you down. You don't have to live in the rubble when things fall apart; you can rebuild. If you don't have the strength to rebuild, tap into God's strength. Trust God's strength to overcome what's been broken instead of giving up. This week's "Redo" sermon could be just what you need to pick up the broken pieces in your life. Invite someone to sit with you and get ready to rebuild.

Negative thoughts seem natural these days. Conversations turn negative, the news cycle leads with the negative and it's easy to become conditioned to conform to negative thinking. Negativity can be like noise; we can become conditioned to it and just expect it to always be there. But we can push back and fight back against the negative thoughts and feelings that rob us of peace. The answer isn't just "think happy thoughts," but instead we can learn how to identify those thoughts and replace them with God's truth. Invite someone to sit with you as we cover Part 2 of the "Redo" series.

We often wish we had another chance to find redemption from our past regrets. We try to erase and forget, but it's difficult to block out the noise, ignore the naysayers and break free. This series, "REDO", is about God using your past to improve your future.  This week is about learning how to move beyond our past mistakes and press forward in faith.

Christmas is a time of celebrating that Light coming into the world.  It's not just a time to celebrate, but a time that reminds us to reflect the light of Christ in our every day life.  It's not enough to know Jesus as our light, we must share that light with others who are in darkness. This weekend, we will look at some ways to reflect the Light of the World to others. Come ready to sing some Christmas songs that focus on Jesus being the reason for the season!
