Moving forward with a God-planted dream is exciting and scary. There are some best practices to implement that will keep the dream alive and moving forward. Join us as we look at how Nehemiah began to move forward after he caught God’s vision for his life — then we will look at how the same steps can help us move our dream forward.

Most kids have it, and few adults keep it – the desire to dream. For kids, possibilities seem like probabilities, yet for adults, possibilities seem more like improbabilities. What if we could find a better balance between “I can do anything I set my heart to” and “I’ll never amount to anything.” This four-part series will encourage you to dream again to look for God’s greater purpose for your life.

Our final message in the series is one that fills our prayers. People of faith know God is capable of healing so we pray and ask Him to heal us. The LORD heals and He is the one who revealed this name. This week we will look at multiple facets of this name of God… The LORD who heals.

God has one name in particular that Jesus himself came to teach us about - Father. To call God our Father gives us access that no other name or any other religion grants. We’ve probably heard or even used that title many times, but have we truly embraced God’s fatherhood? If we have, are we living our lives out as His children? Invite a friend, grab some coffee, and come learn about how God is our Father.

Sometimes we struggle with feeling invisible and alone, but El Roi, the LORD who sees you, knows what you are going through. Even when we hide everything behind our masks, God sees our hurt and struggle. For God to begin healing us, we need to pull off those masks and trust in Him. One of the most identified reasons to question God’s existence or presence is the lack of peace and harmony in the world. Everyone wants peace, but few find it. Peace is a known name of God, but until you know Him by that name you will question the possibility of peace. Join us this weekend as we discover the best ways to experience God’s peace.

One of the most cringe worthy moments in scripture leads us to understand God as “The LORD will provide.” We won’t always understand or agree with what God asks of us, but when He asks, there is always a purpose. The best way we see God provide is often in our most challenging moments. This week, come be encouraged to learn more about our great God who provides for us.

 

Hebrew names of God describe His character, His relationships and His purpose. There is something about knowing someone by name. A name has a sense of identity. This new series will give us a better understanding of God, as we get to know Him more by name.

This weekend we won’t just be hearing about the meaning of communion, but we will have a meaningful time participating in communion together. Whether you need to be informed about the meaning of communion or reminded of the meaning, this will lead to a sacred moment when we will all have a chance to remember what God has done for us.

 

Fire. One word can mean so much. It can evoke fear, and yet it can elicit hope. Throughout scripture, God has revealed Himself, proved Himself, and provided for others with fire. The insights we receive from seeing God’s firepower will give us a perspective of God that will build our trust and confidence in Him.
